Part II - We all want to be happy
If you had one day
to think about your wants and needs... to recognize the parts of you that are
still hurting... to visualize what it is that is that is holding you down
and has made you become so caught up in your distraction. Would it be scary? Would
it be that bad?
Look, I have been
there… just because I ask this question today doesn't mean that I am anywhere
near perfect or that I have it all figured out.
The only reason I
ask this question today is because I have come to understand that there is so
much out there to explore and grow in me that I don't know why I would want to
continue wasting all of my time doing things other than working on my improvement
as a human being.
Do you know what
people are drawn to? Enthusiasm, joy, happiness, positive thoughts. We already
have enough stress in our lives that it might feel natural to want to put out
hatred and negativity from our hearts. But why keep the cycle going? What do we
get from this? We always get what we give… So why give negative things back,
when we can fill our surrounding with light and positivity?
We are beings
capable of loving and wanting well for each other… we can also become selfless
and want the best for others when we set our hearts to it.
What started this
process of finding love and hope for me was when I finally understood that I am
here on earth with a purpose. The immediate purpose is to be love and light to
everyone who is around me day to day.
Do you feel like you
know you're here for greater than where you are today? Is there a nudge in you
that feels like a heavy block sometimes? Does it feel like you don't know where
to go for answers?
I think you and I
are on the same track!
"Happiness adds
and multiplies as we divide it with others" - A. Nielsen

I truly believe in the law of attraction. Attracting positive thoughts into your life is definitely important, and gives more meaning and a more objective view on situations vs. when you're in a negative state of mind and have that clouded, linear view. I think it's important though to allow those emotions of pain and hurt to be expressed and not repressed, or else how can we ever truly appreciate when things are going right? The Ying & Yang is what makes us whole.
ReplyDeletewow I love your words Jon. Thanks for sharing. Completely agree with you. I think one of the worse things that could happen to us is that we choose distractions over being able to search deep inside into our emotions. When these get repressed we engage in a cycle of unhappiness, negativity that seems to go on and on. When we are in an unhappy or negative state then what we mostly attract is misery and negativity therefore creating misery in those around us.
DeleteLove love this. Thanks for checking it out and replying back!!
